Wu Chun in Manila!

Wu Chun visited Manila last July 12 to 14.
He is together with Calvin Chen, the other guy from the hit Asian Series
Romantic Princess.
They made their live debut appearance in Philippine television at
Entertainment Live followed by other guests appearances in
Pinoy Dream Academy, ASAP and The Buzz.

Grabe! Ang gwapo ni Wu Chun!!
Though wala namang difference kasi sa TV ko pa rin siya nakita.
Pero kahit na... iba yung look and yung feel ko pag alam kong nandito siya sa Manila.
He looks really good... and pati na rin si Calvin.
I love his smile.. very contagious!
For those who doesn't know them... these are their pics:
Order: 1st, Wu Chun. 2nd: Calvin Chen. 3rd: Wu Chun + Calvin Chen.

I hope next time the whole Fahrenheit group will come and visit Manila..
just like what F4 did a couple of years ago.
They have lots of fans in here.
They can make a concert... exciting!

Here is an article I've found on one Wu Chun fansite.
I'll just blog some exciting part... :p

ASIAN SUPERSTARS WU CHUN AND CALVIN CHEN IN MANILA

By Rachelle Siazon

Fresh from Taiwan, Asian superstars Wu Chun and Calvin Chen immediately attended their series of guestings here in the Philippines.
Their first stop was “Entertainment Live!” where lots of Pinoy fans welcomed the dashing stars of the hit Taiwanese soap “Romantic Princess”, which is currently airing on ABS-CBN.

Soon after that, they went to a strictly by-invitation press conference where the local media got to know them better.

Among all the Asian heartthrobs who came here in the past, Chun and Calvin were the ones who are most well-informed about Philippines.
Indeed, they revealed that this is not their first visit in the country.

“I know a lot. Because I run a health club in Brunei and almost 80% of my staff are from the Philippines.
That’s why I come here every now and then to interview (applicants).
And I (have tried) mango ice cream and yema ice cream when I was like 6-years-old.
Because there are a lot of Filipinos in Brunei, I get to eat the ice-cream,
” said Chun, who was born and raised in Brunei.

Calvin on the other hand was able to visit Philippines once for vacation.
“I came here like 10 years ago with my family because I know there are so many places in the Philippines which are good for resorts and trips. One of my friends also came here just last week. And I remember when I was a kid the seafood here was pretty nice and very yummy!” he exclaimed.

When asked if they knew that they are very popular among the Filipinos, Calvin replied that they didn’t.
In fact, they were quite worried that only a selected few would be waiting for their arrival.

Chun further explained, “When we have activities in other countries, sometimes there are fans from the Philippines who write letters for us and say, ‘Hey, come to the Philippines! You have a lot of fans here.’
But we were not sure how many.
And now that we’re here, were really happy to see that a lot of people are really supporting our drama.
And we thank ABS-CBN and GTN for this opportunity.”

To top it all, they also expressed their desire to work with Filipino actresses when given the chance.
As for now though, they have a tight schedule due to their upcoming Asian tour with two of the other members of their boy band known as Fahrenheit.

Still single

With their drop-dead gorgeous looks, charming smile, and well-built frame, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Chun and Calvin are taken.
But it seems that even in their late 20’s, it would be a long time before they get themselves a steady girlfriend.

“No time to date.
Our company would say, ‘You can have a girlfriend, we don’t mind.’
But you know, with our (hectic schedule), there’s no time for us to have a girlfriend at all,”
Chun laughingly shared.

Asian Series Overload!

I just watched today from ABS-CBN Ch. 2 that they will be airing 3 Asianovela's soon.
I'm soo excited!
2 of those series are from Wu Chun...
ever since Hana Kimi started airing in here, love ko na ulit yung mga Chinese series.
So, I won't let this take much longer..
let me introduce to you the hottest drama series that will soon rock our TV screens!

THEY KISS AGAIN (IT STARTED WITH A KISS 2)
This is the sequel to It Started With a Kiss...it's just that they're already married!
The sequel of It Started With A Kiss begins with Xiang Qin and Zhi Shu's wedding and honeymoon. Even after marriage, they experience problems and interferences within their marriage such as mistaken pregnancy, misunderstandings, and a run-in with a girl from Zhi Shu's past. Xiang Qin and Zhi Shu switch to medical school to become nurse and doctor. During that time, Zhi Shu meets new rivals who wish to outdo him and Xiang Qin makes four new friends, and one of them likes her and wishes to replace Zhi Shu.

How will their lives turn out to be?

Jiro Wang is also here..the one who played the role of Wesley (Jin Xiu Yi) in Hana Kimi!

ROMANTIC PRINCESS
Gong Zhu Xiao Mei

Adopted by middle classed parents, Mai has always had a dream to be an heiress. Who knew that one day this dream would come true. Mai's biological grandfather is the head of a prestigious aristocratic family and after many years of searching, he finally finds his long lost granddaughter. As she starts her life as an heiress, everyday is filled with excitement, however, everything seems a bit different from what she had imagined them to be.

I've already seen the 1st part of Episode 1 in the net and the story is really cute.. it quite resembles Princess Hours of Korea. Just can't wait for Ch. 2 to air it soon, or I can buy DVD, instead.. (.^__^.) This was shown in Taiwan at around September - December 2007 and it was replaced by They Kiss Again.

HOT SHOT / Basketball Fire
This is the series done by Jerry Yan and Wu Chun together!
I'm really soo excited... its just that, it is not yet shown in Taiwan.
I've read that they will plan to air it at around July 2008..
so kelan pa kaya yun dito sa Philippines..for sure matagal-tagal pa.

I'm soo happy!

Breath-taking

The most perfect word for this picture. I'll also consider the words

HEAVENLY and GORGEOUS

Oh, I miss Roger Federer
I almost forgot him because of Hana Kimi
and Wu Chun.
My Mom even told me that I've got a new Apple of My Eyes...ow, true enough!
I just told her.. "Well, pana-panahon lang yan.."
hahaha.. just kidding! Of course, I love them both!
Plus..David Archuleta from American Idol Season 7. He's soo adorable. I'll have one post about him next time.

Speaking of Roger Federer, he won in ESTORIL OPEN 2008 just today.
After 5 months of a title drought.. It's about time he got finally one for himself.
I'll just post about the game tomorrow.
As for now, just savor this very good-looking / dramatic shot.
Thanks to Paulo Calado (hahaha..feeling close?!)

I just can resist including something about Wu Chun in here.
Sorry Roger! (hahaha)
I've found out Wu Chun's blog in his Wikipedia..and I know it's his true blog. As for the looks of it, I think it's not a joke.
And he's got something about the
Philippines. Alam na niya na big hit na yung Hana Kimi dito and he's been persuading his managers / producers to come here together with his band (Fahrenheit)..yun nga lang he is not yet that successful. Wala naman daw silang promotional activities here.

Huh??! meron kaya... promote nila yung band nila. Sisikat din yun...parang F4.
They've got a lot of fans already. I've seen it for myself sa mga forums.
It's like a Fever.. or should I say a virus- - - spreads so easily.

Anyway, here's the link for his blog:
WU CHUN's BLOG (BRIAN OF HANA KIMI)
The
"()" is for those who doesn't know who is Wu Chun.

And here's the link for blog post he had which talks about the fans from the Philippines. It's a bit short actually, pero at least meron.
HANA KIMI IN THE PHILIPPINES

Plus there's a lot more goody stuffs in his blog. Yummy pictures and cool blog posts. I wonder how can he be able to update his blog despite his busy schedule?

Well, as what the saying goes.. good girls keep diaries..
So it applies too.. good BOYS keep diaries.

Kawaii!

I just love summer time!
It's perfect for relaxation, for watching your favorite TV show, drowning yourself in a movie marathon or eating all the foods you want. (but of course, have a proper kosher!) And oh, by the way... planning gimmicks with your friends should no
t be missing on the long list.

As of today, I've watched two movies:
THE NANNY DIARIES

THE NANNY DIARIES is the story of Annie Braddock (Scarlett Johansson), a fresh-out-of-college Jersey girl who is uncertain of her future. Annie’s mother is pressuring her to take a job in business, but Annie has more interest in anthropology. After blowing her first interview with a New York financial firm, Annie heads to Central Park to mull over her options. As fate would have it, it’s there that she meets Mrs. X, a wealthy mother from the Upper East Side.
Mrs. X happens to witness a warm interaction between Annie and her son Grayer, and mistakenly assumes Annie is a nanny. She immediately offers Annie a job, and despite the warnings of her best friend, Linette (Alicia Keys), Annie takes it.
She decides to approach the job like an anthropologist in the field, and she is alternately fascinated and appalled by her observations. Despite their luxurious lifestyle, the Xs are revealed to be a truly dysfunctional mess. Annie quickly learns that money might indeed buy you a house on Nantucket, but it certainly can’t buy you an honest husband or the affection of your son.
The film has a great time poking fun at the absurdity and hypocrisy of Manhattan’s upper-crust, and it’s at its funniest when relying on the sharp
observations of its source material. It’s surprisingly fanciful in places, with quick nods to MARY POPPINS and its very amusing use of the Natural History Museum. A sort of THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA with a fantastical edge, THE NANNY DIARIES is a satisfying slice of cinematic schadenfreude.

Okei... I give this movie:
PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

I love this movie... add to that is the "Harvard Hottie" in the film which is linked to Annie. This guy kinda look like the guy from Gossip Girl..I forg
ot his name already..oh... never mind!

Next movie:
ENCHANTED

With a fine cast and fun in-jokes, Disney’s ENCHANTED is sure to cast a spell over both children and adults. It begins with a 2-D animation sequence reminiscent of the company’s beloved past. Surrounded by dozens of cute animals, Giselle sings about her desire to find her one true love. Meanwhile, a handsome prince overhears her, and they meet and fall in love. In many Disney movies, this is where the story ends, but ENCHANTED is just starting out on its journey. The prince’s wicked stepmother can’t stand to lose her throne, so she pushes Giselle down a well, and the beauty ends up in the real world. Gone is the animated fantasy, and a live-action Giselle lands in the middle of Times Square in New York City. Her optimism and perkiness put her at odds with the New Yorkers she encounters, but she gets help from a cynical divorce lawyer as she waits for her prince to rescue her. Fans of Disney classics from SLEEPING BEAUTY to BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will be glad to see their favorite films referenced in ENCHANTED. Jodi Benson makes a brief appearance, and the evil queen threatens to kill Giselle with a poisoned apple à la SNOW WHITE. Though it reminds the audience of past favorites, ENCHANTED boasts its own script that is at once intelligent and heartwarming. As a result, ENCHANTED is a film that deserves to sit on a shelf with Disney’s classics.

Okei.. I give this movie:
PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

The movie is great... it includes some movie cuts from the classics Snow White and Cinderella... but I just can't give this movie 5 stars. I don'
t know... it just didn't got my attention that much. But it's worth watching, I must say.

We just watched two movies today. We'll reserve the other ones for the next days.. we're not on a hurry that much. Let the DVD player do the work! hehe...

Next topic:
I'm amused that I saw one of Roger's game at Balls channel last night. It's a match against Pete Sampras at Madison Square Garden. It's just a fun/charity game
but at least Roger won this game. I mean, even though it's just a FUN game.. it's still considered as a serious match-up between 2 of the greatest tennis players of all time. Well, Pete Sampras was regarded by Roger Federer as his childhood hero and take note Sampras won 14 grand slam major titles while Roger have only 12 on his list. I think he's on the run for getting the same or more than that of Pete's. I don't know.. only time and Roger can tell that.

To end this, I want to share something funny about myself. This happened last Black Saturday. This is how it goes.

I was surfing our tv channels when I get passed this korean channel, so expect that I can't understand their language, right?
But what's weird is that I get hooked-up to it...
ask me why?
It just so happens that this channel is airing a korean talk show and their guest is a korean boy band named TOHOSHINKI... (Rising Gods from the East) and I tell you...this boy band members are all cuties and hotties.

Ewan ko ba... I'm not that much into Chinese or Koreans (???) but they got this charm and appeal that kept me hooked on their show from 12am to 1:00am...and take note.. hindi ko naiintindihan yung salita nila hah.. hehe! Wala lang, I'm just looking at them..their moves and the way they talk. Ah basta.. weird talaga...hehe!
Look at them:

Kaya ngayon.. lagi ko ng tinitingnan yung korean channel na yun..haha! Kahit na wala akong maintindihan, okei lang. Infairness, dami talagang cute sa korea. (.^__^.)
oh my!...........
