ATP - A SOLID VICTORY IN THE DOUBLES

Roger only had a few hours break after his victory
in the singles competition before getting back on court for the doubles.
Playing a most solid match, Roger and Stan qualified for the quarterfinal
of the doubles competition with a 6-4, 6-3
victory over Dmitry Tursunov and Mikhail Youzhny.

The Swiss duo played a very good match
and was able to improve the level of play throughout the game.
They will take on Mahesh Bhupathi/Leander Paes of India in the next round
– a rather difficult task.
Roger had lost to them at the Athens Olympics four years ago together with Yves Allegro.

- The other guy is Stanislas Wawrinka, another Swiss tennis player. If not mistaken, he is ranked no.10 in the world- Roger and Stan are teammates for the doubles tennis competition at Olympics. So far they are performing well as a team.
