Final exams - - finally over..

Exams are finally over! yiipppeee! No more sleepless nights and sleepy mornings. No more worries about the upcoming tests whether what I've reviewed will be useful or not as I answer the exam. No more "knock of the conscience" moments whenever leakages were sent by my very generous and thoughtful classmates through my fone on the night before the exams. ..and many more "NO MORE'S"...(.^__^.) But behind all of these, there's one thing that makes me sad about the end of finals, it's the though that the 1st semester is already over. Marami pa namang masasayang memories ang nangyari this sem...

1. My section 2Ham and my classmates and new classmates including yung dalawang basketball players ng UST team.
2. UAAP season 70 where 5 times akong nakapanood ng live basketball game sa Araneta Coliseum. Even though hinde kami nakarating sa Finals yung team kasi natalo sila ng Ateneo okei lang..at least nasa final 4!
3. Ang pagduty sa gym together with my duty-college friends and girlfriends. It's fun to watch their practices, it shows support to the team plus the players will get to know you..hehe.. (.^__^.)
4. Successful events na inorganize ng Pre-Com Society like Mr. and Ms. Pre-Com Personality and our Pre-Com General Assembly. All those letters that I have done will surely be missed lalo na yung mga last minute works. But of course, work is not yet over for there's still more this coming semester.
5. My PE subject: Basketball together with my team...the undisputed Black team. I really enjoyed this subject and my PE teammates (most of them are also my classmates and friends). At least naman nabago yung type ng PE ko, hindi katulad nung 1st year na Folkdance and Social dance. Even though 2 games lang yata yung napanalunan namin, I score naman for each game! I made my contribution... both in offense and defense.Parang pang Jervy Cruz style of shooting..hindi ko kaya yung kay Dylan na pang 3 points eh..hindi kasi kaya ng arms ko..hehe!
6. Our play "Chabela Wedding Cake" in literature where I played the lead female role of Tita dela Garza. I will miss my famous and most talked about line of "Olele, Olala!" and "Nobody wanna see us together"...(sings). Even our director, si medz!. First time akong natakot kay medalene, super strict niya kasing mag lead..

There's a lot more actually but I'll just limit it to 6. And now, since the 1st semester is over, I'll give tribute to our professors. I'll describe each one of them since I've been under their care for almost 6 months. Let me arrange it according to my schedule...
(MWF)
Literature: 7:00-8:00am Mrs.Grajo
Well, she's a good teacher. She exposed us to new literary works and introduced to us great writers. It's just that when she explains about a certain story..she do all the talking. She seldom asked us for our opinions that's why it's a bit boring. But it's alright! The good part is that she allowed us to have a play and we're the Chabela Wedding Cake group.
Funny fact: Marami kaming nabasa na stories about gays and she told us a lot of gay language that I, myself, is not even familiar. The words like "tanders" "masyonda" which means old. All I know are "cheverlu" "chorva"..hehe. Some of my classmates even formed a theory that maybe yung past life na Mam Grajo ay isa siyang gay! (.^__^.)

Business Math: 8:00-9:00am Ms. de Castro
I don't love the subject and I even don't like the professor. That's my biggest trouble ever. Hindi ko talaga maintindihan yung lessons niya and another minus factor..I'm seated at the back part of the class. She arranged us alphabetically in a vertical form.
Funny Fact: We called her bunny, some cyclops. I don't know, but there's some problems in her eyes. And oh, by the way she's a bit old but she's still single. If anyone is interested proceed to UST College of Commerce Faculty room.. (.^__^.)

Management: 9:00-10:00am Mrs. Mazo
This one, I love the subject and I love the professor. I'm soo lucky! The only problem is that she's sometimes not around..she's absent from class. Pero I tell you pag nagturo na talaga siya, super maiintindihan mo yung lesson..she really knows the subject and marami siyang experience about business management.
Funny Fact: One time nung nag-absent siya from class the reason was that tumaas yung blood pressure niya. The reason was that she ate Beef Kare-Kare given to her by her daughter. Well, if you know that it's bad for your health, why would you eat it..isn't it? (.^__^.)

Computer Lecture: 10:00-11:00am Mr. Yu
When I was in highschool, computer was really easy. Lectures were just about history, father of computer, generations of computer and the like. In college Computer was complicated. What happened?!?! New terms ASCII, EBCIDIC, Decimal, Binary, Octal and Hexadecimal numbers, FORTRAN, COBOL...etc. I don't want to recall these terms anymore. It just give me a headache. He even gave us added readings like "Why I hate Microsoft" and "Halloween Documents". Do we need these things when we manage our own businesses? I'm 100% sure it will not..perhaps "Why I hate Mr. Yu" will be a big hit in the market.
Funny Fact: Mr Yu looks like Einstein. His hair, mustache..his features you know! (.^__^.)

Computer Laboratory: 12:00-3:00pm (every Fridays only) Mr. Marzalado
Oooppsss.. sir Sir Ian pogi na! He told us to call him like that...well, a protest is needed..hehe! You see, 3 hours in the computer laboratory, seated and focused on your computer...that's a sore in the eyes. I love our lessons about Microsoft Word..it's easy. But when we're at Microsoft Excel...worksheets, summations, vlookup...really hard to apprehend. But it's good to know that those features in Microsoft Office are really helpful. I never imagined that I can do such things there. Okei naman si Sir eh, kaya lang pag nagpaexam na siya..enumeration ng options under File menu, Edit Menu, Format Menu..etc in order! Step by step process in order! I tell you, you're grades are dead. But luckily, I survived..i'm just partly dead.. =)
Funny fact: He told us one story that way back when he's an instructor at Informatics he had a student which is a gay. This gay got a crush on him. Sir Ian pogi talaga oh!..hehe..

TThS
Accounting: 7:00-8:00am Atty. Dolosa
This professor is really good. Finally, Accounting is a lot easier for me. He really explained Partnership accounting entity clearly. He gave good examples so all I have to do is jot it down in my notebook. Our quizzes are even easy..no problem at all.
Funny Fact: He's funny! And he's our only professor to require a notebook. He checked it once a while whether we answered our assignments..I got top marks there!

Microeconomics: 8:00-9:00am Mr. Bernardo
I don't like this subject. I will never get this as my major subject next year. I don't understand the graphs involved....but one thing important that you must remember is this. "Marginal benefit must always exceed Marginal Cost". And ngayon ko lang nalaman na there's explicit cost and implicit cost..para kasing explicit cost lahat eh. There's a lot of economic terms to understand..that's a problem..but that's only my minor problem. I have a major problem, same as the whole class, Mr. Bernardo doesnt care if we understand it or not. I think his only concern is that he delivered the lesson within the 1 hour given to him..and that's it. "Just have your readings, just analyze it..madali lang naman yan eh.." for him..but for us..not! He even explained things in front of his kodigos.. and a powerpoint presentation.
Funny Fact: He told us that he had been teaching for 9 years now at different colleges and universities. And he is currently teaching at the same time in Miriam College. I think he reached that 9 years like an NPA because no college accepted him as a tenured professor. He isn't that good, I tell you!

Rizal: 9:00-10:00am Mr. Roda
When he enters the classroom the first word that comes out of his mouth are trashy words.. i mean like the @$%$^$%&*£%£ and the ^$%"&$%"&$% and the @£"&&^%$£^*!£^. I'm not familiar with this words, but now I am. Pero Sir Roda is a good professor. I will really miss him, my college will not be complete without him being my rizal professor. Siya ang "emperor" ng class and ng buong commerce department. He travelled to madrid, paris and heidelberg. He's scholarly, according to him..(.^__^.) He has a soft heart too..he told us that when he retire next year, he will miss all the class he handled and when that time comes he will just look back at the pictures he had taken and cherish our smiles and our faces. He's the best photographer ever..he loves photographs and he always brings with him his camera.
Funny fact: Sabi niya, he's like Rizal..even when it comes with girls. Rizal got lots of girlfriends..he had an affair on each places he went. He told us that he is worthy to have a statue of his own. Well, let' see..(.^__^.)

Ethics: 10:00-11:00am Mr. Maisog
He's quite okei...the subject was easy it's just that when he explains things masyadong maraming synonyms sa sentence niya to the point na paulit-ulit yung gusto niyang iparating sa amin that's why hindi na siya masyadong maintindihan in the end. Pero mabait si Sir Maisog..tama talaga na Ethics yung ituro niya.
Funny Fact: He's fond of UST basketball players. They are his favorites. In our class he often calls the attention of Scott and Marquez and then makikipag-joke sa kanila. But I tell you, AB professor rin siya and bestfriend niya daw si Dylan! Shucks..dapat pala nakipagclose ako kay Sir..hehe..! Sabi nga ng iba kong friends from other class papapuntahin niya daw si Dylan sa class nila because he's the perfect example of having a balance between studies and extra curricular activities. (.^__^.)

This semester is really a blast! I will miss it.. =)
