YLOH - -reunited...

This day is reserved for my higschool barkada!

Yup!... I'm soo happy kasi makikita ko ulit yung mga friends ko noong highschool. Honestly, I miss them a lot. It seems like ages since the last time I saw them.

Friel, Christhal, Lia, Michelle and Marielle - - YLOH... I miss the times we used to hang around the DBS campus and talk our hearts out about things happening in our lives and around us.

And of course since college na tau..we don't have that enough time na to have our bonding moments!...hehe.. pero ngayon was the lucky day!

We've decided to have our reunion at Friel's house. Meron daw kasing bagong videoke sa house nila. Since magaling naman kaming kumanta... and yun yung past time namin when we're at our highschool days.. yung nalang yung plan namin..hehe! (.__"__.)

As usual, late na naman ako ng mga 45 minutes. Bumili pa kasi ako ng donuts sa Country Style para meron kaming makain na sweets. Ang aga rin kasi nila doon. Mga 10am palang they were there na. Tinawag ko pa sila na bumaba from 6th floor kasi nakalimutan ko na rin yung place nina Friel. Baka maligaw pa ako sa Governor's place..eh ang dami ng floors ng condo nila.

When I arrived hindi pa sila nagstart. Talagang hinintay nila ako para sabay-sabay kami. Ang sweet naman nila!...siguro ako talaga yung magaling kumanta sa Magic Sing!..joke! ^__^
Masaya naman yung sing-along namin. Okei naman yung mga scores..laging Verygood and excellent. Kami ni Lia..naka 100 sa song na "Kahit Kailan" by Southborder tapos naka 100 din sina Christhal sa song na "Narda" by Kamikazee. Galing naman!

Ang pinakalate to arrive was Michelle. Mga 4pm na siya nakarating kasi meron pa daw siyang ginawa na utos sa kanya ng parents niya. Paalis na nga kami that time eh. Buti nalang nakaabot pa siya sa picture taking namin:

Paskuhan 2006 at UST

Dec. 20, 2006 – Wednesday

At 5:40pm, I’m back at UST to join the university-wide Paskuhan celebration. My surroundings were really different from the typical UST I usually see every morning during school days. Christmas spirit can be felt…it’s in the air! Almost all the trees had Christmas lights on it, people around me were excited…some were curious while others were used to this kind of celebration.
And, as for me, I’m together with my bestfriends. The 3 of us wore pink blouse kasi yun ang napag-usapan namin before.
To fully enjoy our first-ever Paskuhan experience, we decided to hear the Thanksgiving mass first which was held at The Grandstand.

Ang daming tao! Almost mapuno yung football field. Yung iba nakaupo sa grass..parang nagpi-picnic, while others were attentively listening to the Holy Mass. After the holy mass…eto na yung surprise… It’s the lightning of the giant Christmas Tree and the Fireworks. Bago pa ito mag-start..nag-lights off muna. Super excited na yung mga tao sa paligid ko…sarap nga ng feeling that time.
Any moment..nagstart na yung Fireworks…very extravagant..ang ganda talaga!
Pati yung giant white Christmas tree…it’s sooo cute!...it’s sooo white… =)

And then meron concert. It was participated by chosen UST students from different colleges. Meron ding performance from well-known bands like Spongecola (yehey!..nandun si Yael..), Urbandub and Dicta License.

Since we’re hungry na.. we don’t need to worry about out food! May free food kasi…it’s like a Christmas gift of the university for the students.
We just have to choose from their sponsors..Kenny Rogers, Jollibee, McDonalds, Wendys, Chowking, and Burger King.
Hmmmmm…sana dun kami sa Kenny Rogers eh kaya lang super haba ng pila to get the food. Eh, we’re hungy na talaga so naghanap nalang kami ng mas shorter line. Okie naman yung chicken sa Jollibee kaya dun nalang…mas mabilis pa..hehe! (.__”__.)

Due to advanced technology.. you can’t go back and try foods from other stalls..sayang!..hehe. Naka-record na kasi sa computer nila na nakakuha na kami ng food. Meron kasing mga student assistants each food stalls na kumukuha ng student’s ID number so that foods are properly and equally distributed to each students..(para fair..!) (.__”__.)

After namin kumain....nandoon lang kami sa may football field. Nakukuwentuhan, tawanan, laging inaasar si Dane, picture taking and naglalaro. Meron kasing dalang puzzle si Medalene..nag-enjoy naman kaming i-solve yung mga next figures na nasa instruction. Enjoy rin kasi may background music pa kami because of the concert.
Medyo sad ako kasi hindi na nakapunta si Joan. Hindi pa naman ako masyadong prepared kaninang morning na yun na ang last time na makikita ko siya for this year. By august ko na ulit siya makikita. Medyo naiiyak nga ako when Dane and Medalene were trying their best to convince Joan through text messaging na pumunta sa UST kahit sandali lang. Kaya lang..hindi talaga pwede eh. Hindi tuloy kami complete - - pero I know meron pa namang next year…and for sure the 4 of us will still be bestfriends…(.__”__.)

At around 9:30pm…may Mom informed me na nasa loob na siya ng UST…kelangan na rin namin umuwi kasi it’s getting late na. Medyo hindi rin kasi safe umuwi pag gabi na..malayo pa naman yung bahay namin from school.
Sinamahan ako nina Dane and Medalene na hanapin yung Mom ko…gusto rin kasi nila ma-meet si Mommy. Habang naglalakad kami sa tapat ng main building. Biglang tumigil si Dane tapos meron siyang binati…I was curious kung sino yun…paglingon ko…si Dylan!
Hah?! Hindi ko siya nakita ah..naku…nde ko siya nabati…pero si Dane nabati niya…nagsmile back pa nga daw eh..

Buti nalang..maganda yung idea na naisip ni Dane.

Dane: Marielle, pa-picture tayo..dala mo yung camera mo diba!
Marielle:Oo nga noh..wait lang hah..nakatago na eh.
Dane: Bilisan mo Marielle..baka umalis na agad.
Medalene: Mariellee...bilisan mo!
Marielle: Oo, eto na..wait lang.
***buti nalang may kausap pa si Dylan..mga group of girls rin... meron pa ngang isa nagbigay ng gift sa kanya..hmmmm… ako rin kaya!..joke!! =)

Dane: Kuya, pwede ba kaming pa-picture? (aba, Dane..may kuya pa talaga hah?!)
Dylan: Oo naman..sure… sige!
Medalene: Gusto mo ng cookies?! (hmmmm..sweet naman ni Medz)
Dylan: Sige..okie lang..thanks!
Dane: O sige... Marielle ikaw muna hah..after mo ako naman hah.,.
Marielle: Sige..naku..kelangan ko pa atang magpatangkad ah..baka hindi ako makita sa picture eh!..hehe..

Haaaay… ang bait niya talaga ano?!.,..meron na tuloy akong remembrance na friends talaga kami..hehe.. =)Sayang wala tuloy kuha si Joan..kanina pa namang umaga kami nagpaplano na magpapicture..!

Habang nagpipicture kami..medyo nagkakagulo na yung worlds namin..sa sobrang panic..nahulog ni Medalene yung natitirang cookies na dala niya. Naku..mga 5 pieces pa ata yun.
Nalungkot tuloy si Dane kasi naiwan na nga yung dala niyang Corn Bits sa may field..pati ba naman yung favorite niyang cookies nawala… naubos na rin.
Tawa ako ng tawa sa reaction nila pareho..
Sino ba naman ang hindi ma-eexcite pa nandyan na si Dylan?!..(.__”__.)
Buti nalang..nakita namin siya...ang saya tuloy ng Paskuhan ko..hehe.. =)

Nakita rin ng Mom ko si Dylan eh...hehe..at last nakita na rin niya in person! Lagi ko rin kasi kinukwento sa kanya about kay Dylan..hehe.. =) After nung moment na yun nagpicture-picture pa kami with my friends. Hindi kasi namin nagawa yun kanina..enjoy talaga..the pictures were nice!

At 11:00pm..my Mom and I decided to go home na..gabi na talaga! Si Dane and Medalene, nagstay muna sa UST…dun muna sila hanggang madaling-araw. Siguro hanggang 6:00am sila doon. And then, I think meron pa silang plans na mag shopping sa Divisoria..malapit lang din naman eh. So, adventure talaga!

We arrived home at exactly 12:00mn. Luckily..were safe.

Okie…this was my memorable experience. Sabi ko na nga ba eh..this one will be very different from my highschool parties. It’s filled with fun, excitement and surprises. Plus..I have my bestfriends with me!

How about next year?... what’s in-store for us?...hmmmmm…matagal pa yun. For sure..that one will be better!...Let’s wait and see!

Have a meaningful Christmas!..

It’s a lucky day for me. I don’t know why… I just felt it this morning and my intuition never failed me. Earlier this morning, I’ve just realized some things…medyo nagmuni-muni muna ako & reflect on things I’ve done for these past few months and weeks. I’ve decided to ask for a sign from God so that I could decide on things that’s bothering me.

Luckily, I think I’ve found my sign…!

Noong nagpunta kami ng Mom ko sa mall to attend the 7:30pm Simbang Gabi mass at the Megatradehall, I heard someone called out my name. I thought about it and looked around kasi baka may kakilala ako or some of my friends saw me. I was so surprised to see Friel - - one of my old bestfriends in highschool…my friend who decided to enter the convent of the FMA sisters.

When I saw her, I just don’t know what to do. I ran to her and hugged her so tight because I missed her a lot. Kasama niya yung Mom niya and her younger sister. We talked about so many things. Siguro nandoon kami sa may gitna ng hallway ng SM Megamall for about 20 minutes.
Syempre, kinamusta ko siya about her life with the sisters. Yung sa studies naman, almost pareho kami ng subjects kasi puro pre-requisites muna yung subjects since 1st yr. college pa lang kami. Kinamusta niya rin ako tungkol sa happenings ko sa UST. I told her that I’m enjoying my college life talaga. I’ve found my new set of “bestfriends”, I told her about the Paskuhan last Wednesday and other things that were really different from her quiet place at Laguna.

She’s really simple talaga…I could tell that simplicity and holiness is within her. I know naman that she can make it to the juniorate level up to becoming a perpetually professed sister. Lots of peole, including myself, were praying for the success of her chosen career. As she shared to me some of her happenings, I’ve realized that our worlds now are very far from each other. It’s kinda hard for me imagining myself in her situation. I’m sure that I’m happy and contented enough to be a student of UST for the next 3 ½ years and be a successful career woman someday.
I know that what I’m doing now is my destiny.

After our chit-chat… we went to hear our 8th Simbang Gabi mass… Shucks…ang bilis naman ng araw..parang kakastart palang ng 1st mass and now it’s almost over!

After the holy mass, I was enlightened enough and I felt like I’m freed from something that have trapped me for years. Gumaan yung feelings ko.
Though it’s hard for me to let go of my hopes…it’s hard to shine for someone whose glance will never be mine. I think I’ve been waiting for years now, but it seems like this person isn’t aware that I’m waiting at all.
It’s like I’m just an ordinary person passing by…just ordinary…
Maybe my bestfriend was my clear sign…
I just hope that my decisions are right…sana wala akong pagsisihan sa huli.
I’m lucky because …at last… some things were made clear for me.
I’m not yet sure about this, but maybe… time will tell me.
I just have to pray…I’m still young and I need to move on!

These gifts will serve as presents from my Dad, from my Lola and Ninang....pati na rin yung mga naipon ko from my allowance… =)
Hmmmmm…bag, shoes, sandals, blouse….nice!
And of course…may gifts na rin ako sa mga cousins ko…toys!

Christmas Party exclusive for 1-Iam

It’s my first Christmas as a college student…and of course iba ang Christmas celebration sa UST. Really different from my highschool parties at DBS. First of all, I’ll start from our Christmas Party exclusive for our class. (.__”__.)

At 8:30am, I arrived at UST…medyo doubtful ako kasi yung iba naka casual clothes samantalang ako naka-uniform. Ang alam ko kasi hindi nagpapapasok yung guard sa building namin pag hindi nakauniform. And besides, ¾ of the students naman ay naka-uniform, so okie lang.

My bestfriends Joan, Dane and Medalene were sitting prettily at the Colayco Park waiting for me. I’ll really miss them this Christmas vacation especially Joan kasi this would be her last day in school. Medyo matatagalan na rin yung balik niya. By August na siguro, so I’ll miss her a lot. I gave them my Christmas gifts. Nakakatuwa nga yung reaction nila kasi galing SM yung gifts ko sa kanila….hehehe…nde na sila dapat magtaka kasi bahay ko na kaya ang SM Megamall…. joke lang! (.__”__.)

Ooooppppssss…. Hindi pa dun natatapos yung gifts ko sa kanila. Meron pang pahabol. Guess what??!! >>>> mga pictures! Syempre…so that they won’t forget me.

Medyo special yung kay Joan. Since aalis na siya..I gave her 2 pictures. 1st is yung magkasama kami noong College week namin and the other one is… picture ni Dylan..haha! Kung makikita niyo lang talaga yung initial reaction ni Joan noong nakita niya yung pic. Shocked, excited na kinikilig pa. Syempre, may copy rin ako noon noh! Nagpaprint din ako!....hehe!... (.__”__.)

After that, Joan came up with an incredible plan. Magpapa-autograph kami kay Dylan. Syempre, ako naman..join sa plan ng mga friends ko. Since nahihiya kami ni Joan…nagpalit muna kami ng identity. Si Dane muna si Marielle and si Medalene naman si Joan. Isn’t it funny! Then after mga ilang minutes…lalabas kami from somewhere and magpapapicture with him..(I’ve got my camera with me!)
While we’re on our way to the gym, nakasalubong pa namin si Mark Canlas (one of the UST basketball players)… so mas lumaki yung chance namin na makita siya. Unfortunately, wala siya…walang practice! Haaaayyy..better luck next time! Hindi tuloy nagawa yung plans namin. Anyways…we will be back naman after our party! (.__”__.)

At around 9:30am…umakyat na kami sa aming classroom. Medyo nakakalungkot kasi ang konti lang namin...pano kami magpaparty? Parang ordinary school day yung nadatnan ko..and marami pang absent. Since wala pa yung mga classmates ko na nag-organize ng party, yung iba umalis muna. Less than 10 nalang kami. May Christmas party pa kaya?

After ilang minutes dumating na rin sa wakes sina Ron and Charmane. May music na rin..and little by little the party gets alive! Parang disco club yung classroom kasi ang loud ng sounds sa loob. Dumating na rin yung iba kong classmates sa mas sumaya pa.

Since time was too short for us to prepare for our party, we’ve decided to order meals from KFC na lang. at least, we’ve got foods to feast on. After eating, may games pa. Kasali ako sa game na “Pinoy Henyo”. Isa siyang type of guessing game. Merong word na nakadikit sa forehead mo…then, with the help of your partner, you’ll guess the word by asking some questions answerable only by YES or NO. So, medyo mahirap yung game kasi ikaw mismo ang maghahanap ng clue.

Nung turn ko na, partner ko si Bea. Hindi ko talaga mahulaan yung word na natapat sa akin. King anu-ano na yung sinabi ko… tao, animal, lumulutang, lumilipad, nasa lupa, under the sea, color white, black, pink, mahilig sa sports, matangkad… hanggang san a-mention ko ang food.
Whew! 30 seconds nalang ang remaining time ko. Obviously, hindi ko na nahulaan. Ang hirap naman kasi talaga eh… Longganisa yung food.
Tell me, sino ba namang genius ang makakaisip ng word na yun. My classmates were really creative..Very imaginative kasi marami pang weird terms ang pinahulaan nila. At the end of the game, the ladies won against the gents through a Jack-en-Poy game..tie breaker kasi eh!.. hehe..galing ni Medz mag Jack-en-Poy!... (.__”__.)

Marami pang games yung nilaro namin. I enjoyed watching my blockmates go crazy in winning each game even though simple lang yung prize. Well, one game had a jackpot prize of P150.00. I almost got it because I was one of the finalist! But one of my male classmate was the best among us…so he got it! Hehe…
We’ve still got loads of fun until it ended at 12:20pm

I really enjoyed the company of my blockmates talaga. For me, they’re one of a kind! I’m very thankful because they’ve been my first classmate in college. Our memories together will always be kept in my heart. Even though were all different…we shared one similarity: FRIENDSHIP.

The Saga Continues…

After 6 days of silence… we decided to continue our story.. (.__”__.)

Today, nagstay ako ng medyo late sa UST kasi merong meeting sa Precom Society for our Chirstmas Party. Sinamahan naman ako ni Joan…and syempre, since today is Wednesday..we’re on a hunt again.

Actually, at around 12:20pm naghihintay na kami sa may Quadrecentennial park kasi usually dumadaan siya doon since 1pm yung start ng class niya.
Hhhmmmm... ndi siya dumaan, ang weird talaga. Hanggang sa matapos kaming kumain under the big red umbrella with seats- like- cafeteria....wala parin…yung ibang ka-team niya lang ang dumaan.??!!

Syempre, hindi kami nawalan ng pag-asa!...hehehe!

Nagkaroon naman ng meeting, actually..5 minutes meeting lang ata yun. Basta sinabi lang kung anong food yung dadalhin namin sa Monday for the party. After the meeting, gumawa kami ng plan ni Joan. Since it’s almost 3:00pm na..labasan na ng mga mid session classes from Commerce and AB students, kaya naghintay kami sa labas. Hahaha..very patient eh noh! Ganon talaga pag you really need to see someone or something..hehe..

When we’re outside the orgroom..medyo nahilo na ako sa dami ng students na dumadaan. After 15 minutes..wala parin!

Marielle: “Naku…absent yata siya Joan”
Joan: ” Oo nga noh..di bale hingi tayo ng sign”
Marielle: Hmmmm..sige..pag may dumaan na isang player..ibig sabihin, hinto na natin yung paghahanap. Pag dumaan si dizon..okay na sign yun.
Joan: Sige…! (.__”__.)
After 10 minutes..dumaan nga si Dizon..waaah!
Joan: wait lang..may paparating..(with scared face sabay talikod).. si Dizon..!!!
Marielle: Ano ba yan…hingi pa tayo ng isa. Ayaw ko namang umuwi na siya yung last na nakita noh!..(joke lang yun hah!)
Joan: Oo nga..ako rin noh!
Marielle: Si Jervy kaya?! (sabay isip na madalas palang dumadaan si Jervy sa may lobby ng aming building.)
Joan: Hinde..si Chester nalang.
Marielle: Oo nga noh..saka dpat nice view yung makikita nating last. hehehe! And besides, minsan lang dumadaan si Chester dito sa lobby..
**after a while, dumaan si Jervy. Buti nalang hindi siya yung sign namin..hehe..**
**after 2 minutes, dumaan na nga si Chester Taylor..waaaah!**

Lumabas nalang kami sa may katapat na pavilion ng St. Raymund’s Building. We’re not yet giving up kahit na 2 signs na yung nakita namin. High-level ang aming perseverance on that day. We wont give up that easily..naks! (.__”__.)

Siguro mga 20 minutes din kami doon, nakatayo..nagkukwentuhan, tawanan..the usual habit!
Then mga 4:00pm, nakita ko siya sa may tapat ng Faculty Room ng Faculty of Arts and Letters

Marielle: Joan..si D_ _ _n oh! (wehehe..secret ulit..! hulaan niyo.. )
Joan: Oh my God, oh my god, oh my god…Marielle.. Oh my God, shocks!..Oh my God! It’s our moment to shine! ( sabay swipe ng ID and pasok sa loob ng building..went straight sa tapat ng orgroom)
Marielle: uy…anong gagawin natin. It’s our chance na..kaya lang hinde niya pwede tayong makita..nakakahiya!
Joan: Kuha tayo ng Varsitarian (official Newspaper ng UST) **sabay kuha sa may container ng Varsitarian.
Marielle: Nandoon pa siya eh..hehe..bilis! Baka makita niya tayo..
Joan: Kunin na natin yung gamit natin sa loob ng orgroom para, just in case na umalis na si **toot** sa faculty room, pwede nating makita kung saan siya pupunta.
Marielle: Hi Ate Lao, Ate Grace and Ate Rexa..
Ate sa Precom: Uyy, anong dadalhin niyo sa Monday?
Joan: Siguro pansit nalang sa Goldilocks. Hati nalang kaming apat sa expenses.
Marielle: (bulong)..Joan, umalis na siya..
Joan and Marielle: (on a fast situation) aalis na po kami! Sige hah…!

**nahalata yata kami nina Ate Lao, Grace and Rexa. Kasi sinundan nila kami sa may labas ng orgroom na nagmamadali rin**
SITUATION: Kasama ni D _ _ _n si Chester sa may loob ng building. Hindi pa sila umaalis..medyo on deep conversation eh..hehe..
Marielle: ( I gave a hint to Joan na umakyat sa taas..para hindi obvious. At saka, katapat lang namin yung reason kung bakit we’re both packed and ready to go!)

**sumilip kami kina Ate Lao, kung napansin niya kaming umakyat..naku, nakita kami!**
Ate Lao: Oi, Marielle, Joan..bumaba kayo dito..sinong hinahabol niyo diyan hah!?
**kinabahan kami ni Joan. Naku..dapat secret yun kung bakit kami nandito. Bumaba kami sa ibang staircase, kaya lang..nahuli parin kami. (kawawa naman!..hehehe)

Ate Rexa: Oi, ano yun hah..Bakit kayo nagmamadali. Hmmm..may hinahabol kayo noh!
Joan: Wala, ate Rexa..nakita ko lang yung crush ko na kinukwento ko syo Ate Lao
Ate Lao: Talaga!!..asan na..pakita mo na sa akin!
Joan: Wala na..yun nga yung reason kung bakit kami umakyat eh. Sinundan namin siya.
Ate Rexa: Ows, talaga..
Marielle: Totoo talaga!..promise!

Joan: Sige mga Ate’s at kami’y uuwi na..pagod na pagod na kami eh.
Marielle: Oo nga..kelangan na namin ng rest! Sige po..bye-bye!
Ate Lao and Ate Rexa: (still doubtful)..hmmm..sige na nga! Bye-bye..ingatz!

Haaaaay salamat, nakalabas na rin kami ng building. Medyo nagkaroon pa ng major halt eh. Pero naabutan naman namin kung saan siya nagpunta. Iba naman ngayon yung trip niyang puntahan..sa may likod ng UST Hospital.
Naku, nakita pa kami nina Ate Lao na nagturn-left..haaaay..obvious din kami..!
So, yun nga..nagpunta siya sa may UST Hospital. In particular, sa may Pharmacy section ng hospital. Nakita pa nga namin si Jojo na paalis na. Medyo, scary nga yung part na sinusundan namin siya sa may Pharmacy kasi sabi ni Joan, nakita daw niya kami..eye-to-eye.
Naku, lagot na. Sana hindi niya kami napansin. Since, naka-eyeglasses naman siya..sana medyo blurred yung tingin niya sa amin..hehe!
After noon, nawala siya sa paningin namin. We went inside the hospital. I was worried a little bit kasi baka maraming germs and viruses sa loob. We’re allowed naman inside, hindi naman masama yung smell sa loob so we searched sa bawat corner.
Syempre, instinct ulit ni Joan, para i-guide kami.
We’ve reached the main entrance of the hospital, and still, no clear sign of him. Nawala na naman siya sa paningin namin. Sobra kasing bilis nung maglakad eh..ang laki pa ng steps!

Pauwi na sana kami..tapos bigla ko siyang nakita sa may tapat ng Accountancy building. Grabe..! Ang linaw ng paningin ko..ako naman ang gumagana pagdating sa psychic abilities…hehehe..it’s my day!
Sinundan namin siya kahit na medyo malakas na ang ulan...hehehe..

whew! We’re really far from civilization. Ang layo na ng narating namin. Si D_ _ _n kasi eh..hehe!
Well, pumasok na siya sa loob..so syempre, hindi na kami maghihintay sa labas para hintayin pa siya. It’s getting late na rin kasi, it’s raining hard pa so we must go home na.

Ibang dimension na talaga yung adventure namin ni Joan ngayon. Kung last time..sa iba’t-ibang place inside UST..ngayon, umabot na kami sa labas ng university. Hehehe…
Ganon tlga.. pag gusto mo yung ginagawa mo, you’re willing to do everything.
Sabi nga nila: “If there’s a will, there’s a way”

Happy Feast Day of the Immaculate Heart of Mary…today is a holiday of obligation..so all Catholics must hear mass. Nakapagmass nrin kami ng Mom ko knina…=) We don’t have classes today..and yet..not a long weekend for me.. kasi may pasok bukas..syempre naman!... =)

I want to talk about the things that happened to me yesterday....pero bago ang lahat..birthday nga pala ni Dylan kahapon…hehe.. Happy Birthday! Nabati naman namin siya personally kahapon ni Joan kaya happie-happie… (.__”__.) Nagthanks siya..hehe…pero bago namin masabi yun..sobrang daming obstacles and hardships muna ang napagdaanan namin…haaay..kakapagod..anyweiz..Happy Birthday!

Now, ikukuwento ko na yung mga nangyari sa akin yesterday…pasensya na kung medyo mahaba tong blog ko ngayon..Medyo gusto ko kasi na detailed talaga..para for future references. Maybe after 5 to 6 years, when I passed by my past blog entries..matutuwa ako sa mga ginawa ko noong freshmen ako with my friend…hehe..

So where should I start?...hmmmm..sige na nga from the beginning…
Scene 1: Classroom
First subject, Filipino: - - may reporting ang group ko about Ekonomiks..okay naman kasi na-explain ko ng maayos yung naasign na terminology sa akin..
Scene 2: UST Gym
Break time: - - as usual..san pa ba.. eh di sa gym..hehe..kakatuwa kasi kasama pa namin ni Joan sina Scylla and Micah.
**balik sa classroom**
Theology: - - kakaantok..new lesson..about sa history of the Church.
History: - - Geological Foundations ang new topic..okay naman..medyo kakantok rin. Kasi parang extension ng theology class.
Ecology: - - this time, medyo narelive kami. Continued watching the film, “Fly Away Home”..tapos meron pa kaming nakakatawang moments nina Bea..saka yung sa isang irregular classmate namin. Hehe! =)

Scene 3: Lovelite
End of our classes. Punta na kami nina dane, medz and joan sa lovelite para kumain. Actually, I’m starving at that time na. I’ve eaten a lot kasi medyo magstay pa kami sa UST ng mga 1 hour and a half para magduty sa Precom Society. Nakalimutan na namin yung mga responsibilities as Junior Officers sa organization..kaya it’s time to make-up for those forgotten duty times.

Scene 4: Precom Orgroom
Pagpunta namin sa orgroom..medyo hindi kami comfortable ni Joan kasi iba makatingin yung mga jb’s na nandun. Yung feeling na parang hindi ka na masyadong welcome..kasi matagal na rin kaming hindi nakakapunta doon. Since nung October yata hindi na. And then, hindi na rin namin sila natutulungan. Even though that’s their attitude towards us..(hindi kami pinapansin) .. umupo nalang kami ni joan and nagkwentuhan…nagtawanan..yung usual na habit namin. =)

Scene 5: Somewhere sa St. Raymund’s Building
Habang nagkukuwentuhan kami…nakita ko sina Jervy Cruz and Chester Taylor sa labas ng orgroom. Parang meron silang hinihintay..I thought they’re waiting for Dylan. Na-excite tuloy kami ni Joan…hehe..lumabas pa nga kami ng building para tingnan kung sino hinihintay nila. Paglabas namin, wala na sila…well, okie lang naman yun. Pagbalik ko sa loob, punta muna kami sa CR..syempre, kelangang magayos-ayos ng konti. As we’re walking and talking…we turned right para pumunta sa CR, pagtingin ko sa right side..meron akong nakitang tao na umiinom sa drinking fountain..what’s weird is nakatingin siya sa amin ni Joan..tapos nakasmile pa..hehe..bigla tuloy kaming naging silent. Parang we’re star-strucked..ewan ko ba..
Hanging question: Sino kaya nakita namin ni Joan?...hmmmm..secret na lang hah..pero if ever lagi niyong nababasa yung mga recent blog entries ko..you’ll be able to realize who’s this person..hmmmm..(.__”__.)

Scene 6: Sa may 2nd floor staircase of our building
Hindi na kami tumuloy sa comfort room..tumakbo kami papuntang 2nd floor..wala naman kaming masyadong hinahabol..not really..hehe.. Nung nakita na namin yung gusto naming makita..nagstay muna kami sa may 2nd floor staircase of our building. Medyo we’re feeling shy and we don’t want “that person” to see us..so we went up and down sa stairs..I think mga 3 times kaming akyat baba sa hagdan. Hinihintay namin siyang lumabas doon sa loob ng faculty room ng Arts and Letters. Infairness, medyo matagal siya doon hah..so talagang hinintay namin ever..napakaimportant talaga na makita namin siya..we had a mission..a very important mission..and we’re not going to let this day pass without doing it. And besides, were enjoying it.. =)

Scene 7: Quadricentennial Park, 1st floor of the main building
Pagkatapos sa Faculty room, lumabas siya ng building papuntang Quadricentennial park. Akala ko, iikot siya papuntang gym..so we decided to take the other side papunta sa harap ng Main building..para if ever..makakasalubong namin siya..o diba!...hindi obvious.
Unfortunately, hindi ko siya nakita…huhu..sayang pagod ko..yun pala pumasok siya sa back entrance ng Main building…grrrrr..!! Pagpasok namin doon, instinct ang pinairal ni Joan..and nakita namin siya, kaya lang may mga kausap. So nagrest muna ako coz my right foot was kinda painful na..I’m on my high-heels! (not a very good time to run..isnt it?!) When they finished they’re small chit-chat…we headed towards the exit of the building..akala ko papunta na talaga siyang gym. Yun pala nakaupo lang siya doon sa may labas ng isang office..waiting for something..or someone..haaay! kakainis talaga..stressful! Tapos, we saw nalang bigla na may kausap siya na isang professor and went inside another office. We waited..and waited…until we decided to enter another comfort room again. Hindi pa nakakapag-CR si Joan, nakita ko na agad na paalis si******** up to the 2nd floor…hindi kaya siya napapagod?..kasi kami pagod na… =(

Scene 8: 2nd floor..Accounting Office.
We saw him entering the corridors of the Psychology students. Syempre, were not allowed there diba..so we seated muna..and waited again…and course, to catch some breath.What’s funny is that..daming nagkakagulo nung nakita siya..girls and boys alike…well, a very ordinary scene for me..pero hindi naman ganong ka-exaggerated. I even heard someone screamed.
Anyways, after 15 minutes..Nakita namin siya na pabalik na ulit. Naku hindi niya kami dapat makita doon..not like this..very obvious. So we planned something..kaya lang hindi nagwork-out eh. Nakita niya kami..pero hindi niya ata kami na-notice.

Scene 9: UST Museum, outside the Main building
Wow, scene 9 na pala toh..hehe! Nakita namin siyang pumasok sa loob ng UST Museum. May binibili na UST pin siguro…Me and Joan don’t know what to do next. We’re running out of plans na. We can’t just wait there, for sure makikita na niya kami. So we planned to go down to the 1st floor.. and guess whom we saw at last after a couple of minutes.. Si Dylan!..hehe..the birthday boy! Syempre, nag-Hi kami..he greeted back. Sabi ko sa kanya..”uyyy..Happy Birthday hah!” sabi niya.. “thanks hah!” …hehe..bait talaga! Medyo nawala yung pagod and stress ko. At last, nagreet na rin namin si Dylan!

Scene 10: UST Health Service
After that moment…nakita namin na pumasok sa loob ng Health Service yung sinusundan namin ni Joan. Almost, nalibot na niya yung buong UST..syempre..pati kami..nalibot na rin pero mas pagod yung sa part namin..kasi we’re running..we’re laughing..lahat-lahat na talaga. Kakapagod talaga.. it’s my first time to do this..this fateful day is Dec. 7, 2006..Thursday. I wont forget this day talaga..really!
Hindi ko na siya hinintay na lumabas…mamaya magtagal pa siya sa loob eh.. Baka pag nagtagal pa kami, isugod na ako sa loob ng health Service because of too much exhaustion.

Scene 11: Bact to St. Raymund’s building..our lovely building..at last!
Whew...!!! after 1 hour and 30 minutes ng pagtakbo and pag-iikot..pumasok na kami sa loob, nakapagCr na rin kami at last..we fixed our hair and face..I looked too tired because of running..pero syempre, still looked nice kasi I enjoyed it together with my bestfriend… (.__”__.)
We went to the orgroom para marefresh muna..and talked to some of the officers. After 20 minutes..biglang kinabahan si Joan..lumabas siya ng building..sumunod ako kasi parang may nafifeel siyang paparating.
Wow Joan!.. pwede ka na psychic! =)
After some time.. sabi ni Joan.. “Marielle, andyan na siya!”
I was surprised..kasi paparating yung tao na pumasok sa loob ng Health Service kanina. I was shocked..oh my..heto na naman siya! Takbo kami papunta sa loob, kasi baka makita niya kami…huhu..kakatakot na kakakaba. Maybe, for someone who sees us like that..it’s a comedy scene for them. Pero for me..it’s a thriller! (.__”__.)
Luckily, that person didn’t saw us..kasi we’re hiding..hehe..really funny talaga. Kahit ako, natatawa sa mga ginawa ko. Pumasok na siya sa loob ng classroom. Malapit na rin siguro classes niya kasi it’s 4:00pm na.
Wow!..on-time siya pumasok sa class niya..very responsible student, I must say.

When the coast was clear of his sight, me and Joan decided to go nearer sa classroom, kasi gusto rin makita ni Joan kung saan siya nakaupo. When we’re getting nearer..biglang bumukas yung door..at nakita ko siya. I can’t imagine how I looked at that time kasi I was so shocked talaga. Hindi ko ineexpect na lalabas pa siya..I turned left at once and climbed the stairs and I never looked back again. Narealize ko nalang na sumunod pala sa akin si Joan. Kakainis talaga, ang likot niya pala. Hehe… wala pang 5 minutes na rest, naglalakad na naman siya..haaay! I’m giving-up na talaga..
After that, we went to our safe spot again..this time..we’ll try again to go nearer para makita kung saan siya nakaupo. Everytime, we’re trying to make our move, lagi ko siyang nakikita..nasa labas, may hinihintay o kaya naman may kausap. Tawang-tawa talaga ako..kasi I’ve exerted so much effort para doon..actually, kanina pa nga kami eh..takbo ng takbo! Pero siguro naman magbebenefit kami sa mga efforts namin today.
At last..nakalapit din kami kasi medyo matagal-tagal na ring hindi namin siya nakikitang lumalabas sa classroom. Paglapit namin..ngek!...may professor na sa loob. Kaya naman pala eh!

***And that’s it..natapos na rin po yung adventure ko dito. I was really tired and exhausted after.. I think, I’ve burned a lot of fats yesterday. I need to drink lots of multivitamins to have my energy back..hehehe..(.__”__.) Dec. 7, 2006 was really a “One of a kind day” I’m not expecting it…it just happened!

How to make your 15 minutes..very productive!

LAST SATURDAY.....

It's Saturday..suspended ang classes sa UST pero pumasok parin ako..kasi naman nasa biyahe na ako papunta sa school, saka palang nila naisipang isuspend ang classes. Pano naman yun diba? Eh malapit na ako noong time na nareceive ko yung mga text messages sa akin ng aking mga friends and blockmates na wala pasok kaya hindi na ako bumalik pauwi..tinuloy ko nlang papunta UST..saka gusto ko na ring pumasok eh..and besides..some of my friends were there.

Pagdating ko sa may labas ng campus..there’s some students complaining to the guard. Guess what??.... ayaw magpapasok sa loob ng university..wala na rin naman daw pasok kaya umuwi nalang daw kami!
Whhaaat!...nakakainis tlga…so nagtxt agad ako kay Joan kasi nasa loob na siya..buti nalang lumabas siya para samahan ako..hehe.. so lakad muna kami and kwentuhan doon sa kanyang experience for being an “Atenista for a day” noong Wednesday..and sa mga moments niya with Chris Tiu, Macky Escalona, Jai Reyes..and madami pa na basketball players ng Ateneo..hehe..

Tapos..mga after 15 minutes..binuksan rin yung gates ng UST..kasi may pasok na ulit..whhhaaat!..binawi yung announcement. Really confusing..so pano yun, nakalat na through text messages na no classes..so for sure wala na papasok. I think mga less than 10 nga lang kami kanina eh..so we planned not to attend na our classes. Hehe.. Nagagalit na rin yung ibang professors kasi magulo yung announcement. Others went home narin.

I think mga 4 hours rin ako sa school. Marami rin naman kami eh.. Ako, si Joan, Medalene, Scylla, Criselda, Alvin and Migz..hehe..lakad lang kami ng lakad and kwentuhan ever..masaya tlga.. syempre, hindi namin makakalimutan na pumunta sa gym..kasi may practice yung mga basketball players..and what’s good is that marami kami..so hindi kami masyadong maaalala nung mga players…lalo na kaming dalawa ni Joan.hehe..lagi kasi kami doon eh. Funny nga kasi kasama parin namin sina Alvin and Migz papuntang gym..hehe..

Medyo nakakahiya nga kasi kasama namin si Scylla..eh ang lakas ng boses niya..pati yung mga comments niya sa ibang nagppractice naririnig nung ibang players..tapos kinukwneto niya pa yung tungkol sa mga ateneo players..hahaha…napapatingin nga sa amin sina duncil, cuan, dizon saka yung iba pa..pero nde naman sila mukhang galit..mukhang natutuwa naman sila sa amin.. (.__”__.) okie lang yun Scylla..hehe!

Tapos nung mga 11:00am na.. 4 nalang kaming natira sa gym.Actually, bumalik nalang kami doon after we ate sa lovelite. Me, Joan, Scylla and Alvin nalang..hehe..tapos I promised pa to my Mom that I’ll went home at 11:30am.. so 30 minutes nalang kami doon.. And then..nakita namin si Dylan, kaya lang may kausap eh. My bestfriend, Joan, planned to talk to him pag umalis na yung dalawa niya kausap…hehe..kinakabahan nga ako eh..pero sige lang…syempre…sasamahan ko si Joan diba..(.__”__.)

At 11:15am..saka palang umalis yung kausap ni Dylan...naku 15 minutes nalang…sobrang hindi namin alam yung gagawin namin..natatawa na nga lang sa amin sina Syclla and Alvin eh…. And then afterwards, nakita ko nalang na lumalapit si Joan kay Dylan…talagang decided na decided siya to talk to him…wala na akong nagawa..I put my right foot forward to catch up with Joan…syempre, support sa aking bestfriend… and, somehow, to say Hi..again..and converse with our new friend!

Katulad nung mga comments ko dati… isa lang talaga ang masasabi ko..mabait tlaga siya!..hehe..Ibang leveling na nga eh..kilala narin niya kami…simple lang naman yung purpose namin ni Joan eh..friendship lang talaga..nothing more nothing less..ewan ko ba kung bakit..pero ganun talaga eh..(.__”__.)

Eion…. hindi ko na masyadong ieelaborate kung ano nangyari kanina..this post is getting a little bit longer and longer..so kelangan ko ng magstop.. sabi niya..they will have a game tomorrow sa Homegrown invitational cup vs. UE red warriors. Parang “do or die” game na yung bukas to go to the semi-finals. And maglalaro siya bukas..so sana i-televise sa Studio 23. goodluck!
