Meet Me Halfway - Black Eyed Peas

Would you be a friendless loser or have a bunch of friends who secretly hate you? Why?

This may sound like a beauty pageant "question and answer " portion, so I brace myself and think it over like a beauty queen candidate aiming for the Miss Universe title.

Being a human being is the greatest gift God has ever given to any individual since the day of creation. Each and every one of us is created in God's own image and  likeness, having the knowledge and free will that makes us superior above everyone else. With all of these, do we have the right to be a friendless loser? I think not.
I believe that we make the decision if we want to become a loser or become friendless. It does not just come, nor does it depend on any given situation. It all boils down to our attitude and way of thinking whether we want to be on our own, and yet be a loser at the same time. No one wants to be in that situation, so I'd rather choose the other option.

Having a bunch of friends is what I wanted, but having a bunch of friends who secretly hate you isn't likable at all. If I will evaluate myself, I think I won't be able to live without any friends that's why I chose this option. But through further self evaluation as I type down what my mind speaks, I came up with a solution for my haters.

I believe in the saying, "The more you hate, The more you love". Let this become my guiding principle until the end of this article. First and foremost, no one wants to befriend you if they hate you. What's the essence of that? In reality, you become friends with those who likes you, then later on hates you due to some things that maybe had offended them. This feeling of hatred can be resolved and turn it the other way around by spending quality time with your friends and do the things you enjoy the most. Shop with your friends, watch movie or have a slumber party with them during weekdays. And, most especially, be with your friends at those trying times when they needed you the most. Complementarity removes dissimilarities in any relationship, be it a love or a friendly one. I am assured that any feelings of hatred will be transformed into a new friendly relationship that would make you say "Friends for Keeps!".
