Golden Spoon Madness

Frozen Yogurts (or most commonly known as FroYo) are the best!
Most especially when you have one from Golden Spoon!

I want mine when it's mixed with cookies or chocolate dips like this one.
I love my FroYos with chocolates. ♥
The combination of the sour and sweet taste takes me to heaven, everytime!
Plus, eating one with a golden spoon adds to its coolness.

Blogging about this late at night makes me wanna go to the nearest Golden Spoon.
Typhoon Juan makes me crave for FroYos, seriously!
(while some of my friends crave for goto, daing and champorado. haha!)

October Books Galore

Maybe it's because of my age?
Because surprisingly, these past few days, I get fond of buying books.
Actually, its quite addictive.
Every salary day, I have to buy a book!
By hook or by crook!
I've got a good source to buy good books!
And so far, it never failed me.
And what's good is that they're all great!
Well, as for me, I just look at its cover.. and then when I liked it,
I'LL BUY IT! ♥

 1. She's Come Undone - Meet Dolores Price. She's thirteen, wise mouthed but wounded, having bid her childhood good-bye. beached like a whale in front of her bedroom TV, she spends the next few years nourishing herself with the Mallomars, potato chips, and Pepsi her anxious mother supplies. When she finally rolls into young womanhood at 257 pounds, Dolores is no stronger and life is no kinder. But this time she's determined to rise to the occasion and give herself one more chance before really going belly up.

2. The Food Of Love - this book revolved around 3 personas:
a. Laura Patterson - is studying art history in Rome. She's decided that from now on she';; only go out with a man who can cook.
b. Tommaso Massi  - handsome and silver tongued, tells Laura that he's a chef at one of Italy's best restaurants. In fact, he's just a humble waiter.
c. His best friend, Bruno - who really is a chef - a brilliant one - is called upon to help. But when he also falls for Laura, the sparks begin to fly...

3. I Can't Believe She Did That - This book is mostly about the deep-rooted and misleading cultural belief that "good girls support one another, bad girls do not" and its effect on how women handle conflict in their professional relationships.

Believe me or not,
Im still not yet finished with the first one (The She's Come Undone book)
and as of now, I have plans to buy a new set again.
Of course, I'll wait for my salary day first. :p
Im a bookworm by heart,
I just forgot how to practice it. ♥

It all started with...

Friday morning,
It all started with a call from someone
then ended up not giving what she needed and resorting to informing this person
regarding his particular call.

Friday afternoon,
It all started with a hand on someone's lap
just because this person bumped this girl not knowing that she's right at his back.
It took about 8 to 10 seconds before he finally let go of that hand.
The girl was shocked, what's funny is that she never reacted.
This girl just waited for that hand of his be removed from her lap.

Friday: 5pm
It all started with a shared chocolate cookie,
and the discovery that she loves sweets.
Well, apparently, this girl ultimately loves sweets.
In fact she had caramel frappe at Starbucks earlier  during a meeting for one campaign.
But, according to her, that cookie seemed special,
in a very confusing way.

Friday: 6:30pm
It all started with the fear of traffic,
and leaving the office when sun is still up.
Mall sales are everywhere, and people are rushing to go home before they're caught by the traffic.
But this girl was reluctant to go home
and the guy was hungry.
So they decided to stay.
Funny that it may seem, you'll find a reason as long as you want to.
But sometimes you doubt it and believe in that certain connection
between these two people.

Friday: Milk Shake
It all started with foregoing the busy bee and deciding to go with the clown.
The guy asking for a treat but in the end, it turned out that everything's on his.
Feeling sorry for dragging her to eat rather than strolling the mall,
the catch is a strawberry milk shake.
Not thinking about anything, this girl sipped and enjoyed her drink.
But at the back of her mind,
she has to prepare for the next treat.
So, does this mean there's still a next time?

Friday: Book Inventory
It all started with the girl's excitement to go around the mall.
And due to art
they decided to go to a bookstore and check out
supplies and books.
Well, looking at every sort of book is fun!
Plus a short field trip to Philippine literature was cool.
This girl doesn't have enough knowledge when it comes to this.
She just reads and reads and reads.
Without knowing the author at all.

Friday: Monster bag
It all started with a trip on the upper floor
Humorously funny!
This girl is quite curious if she'll see this guy bring this monster bag to office.
Well, bags are cool at Clippers! :D

Friday: You're Electrifying
It all started with the bumping of shoulders.
The girl lied when she said she didn't felt it.
Someone between the two must use Veet!
Just because the guy's electrifying too, literally!

Friday: Low Batt
It all started with the love for books!
Another Book inventory
this time, it's getting way darker.
4 hours straight and that's it! 10pm and it's time to go home.
But the two were unstoppable.
Book searching, book field trip!
But the pop-ups were the best! :D
Damn, both of them were low batt..
blame it on the store with a turned-off aircon!
Grrrr!

Friday: Unused Napkin
It all started with sweat.
The girl was perspiring and hallucinating (due to heat)
damn, she got no tissue and handkerchief.
While walking their way to their destination,
the guy handed her an unused tissue napkin.
It may sound gross, but it is sweet.
Most of the things she need that day were granted!
Felt like someone special, honestly!

Friday: Part ways
It all started with the view of the MRT.
Everything has its end.
The real question is: Do they really want to part ways?
Well, both of them were sleepy heads.
They really have to let go.

Friday: Thank You message
It all started with the girl's cellphone.
And to thank the guy in writing, she texted her
with a "thank you" and "goodnight" note.
The safety checking was sweet though.
It's been a while since she experienced it.

It all started with this Friday.
And if everything has its end..
then everything has its continuation between the starting and ending point, right?

Allergies and a Decolgen

It's a baaad morning for me.
Runny nose. Cold morning.
Sore throat. Lazy Tuesday.
But Im looking forward to go to work.
I prayed for lots of GOOD VIBES to come my way this week.
God is really good. He listen to my prayers.

I wore something red today.
Mind you, a red sweater.
Because Im not really feeling ok.
I feel like Im going to be sick.
Plus checking my office email gives me a headache.
Checking it wakes me to the reality that I am a working girl now.
And I've got lots of responsibilities.
Ok, CLIENTS! Bombard me with your revisions.
Well, it turns out that I should be the one who must make kulet to them.
Or else they'll make me rush things.
How about my SOCIAL LIFE?
I miss you. Well, Social life with my officemates isn't bad at all.
It is FUN actually.

And then there came DECOLGEN.
My medicine.
One of the things that overwhelmed me a lot today.
Geez, good thing it's a no-drowse med.
Or else.. I'll be sleeping all day long.
But still, making me overwhelmed in the first place
will stop me from falling asleep.
hahahaha!
Thank You! :D

It turns out to be a GOOD Tuesday after all. :)
