Today, I woke up at 7:00am, earlier than the usual time I wake up since the start of our summer vacation. I have to go to school at 9:00am for the Student Assistant Orientation up to 11:00am. Luckily, I was one of those chosen applicants for the job out of those other freshman students who applied for it. All in all 9 student were chosen and 4 of them came from our class: Me, Debbie, Melanie and Scylla. Sayang nga hindi nakasama sina Dane, Medz, Bea and Carisse... para mas masaya kasi you can work with your friends together. Kaya lang hindi raw nila nameet yung needed requirements kaya they didnt made it. Pero that's fine... super goodluck sa inyo! And I know makakahanap din kayo ng okei na summer job.

I arrived almost late because of heavy traffic. Pagdating ko wala na sila dun sa harap ng Dean's office kung saan yun yung meeting place na napag-usapan. So, nilibot ko pa yung buong 4th floor only to find out na nagstay na pla sila dun sa loob ng classroom namin last 2nd semester...yes.. super exercise! Well, I'm not the last to arrive...may isa pang kulang.. hehe!! (.__"__.)

Diniscuss nila yung mga tasks namin.. simple pero matrabaho. We're in-charge sa mga incoming freshman students sa college namin. Those who were passed (1st choice and 2nd choice), and then those who are on Wait List. We need to get thier credentials like Original Copy of Form 138 and Good Moral Character. And then we have to give them the PDS or Personal Data Sheet which they have to fill-up and be passed on that day and the following forms like Code of Conduct and Discipline, Commitment to Peace and Order and Drug Free Campus Policies which they have to submit on the day of enrollment. We have to explain din about NSTP, ROTC, LTS, CWTS and PE classes to them... and about the start of our regular classes. We will also be liable for any lost credentials that have been passed to us or to any wrong informations that will be relayed to them.

In short... REALLY HARD WORK!
..pero I can manage! Work will start on April 10 from 8am to 5pm with free snacks and lunch untill enrollment days. I still dont know how much is our sweldo..but no matter how much it is..I'm still very happy because it will be a product of my hardwork.

Last year.. I'm one of those incoming freshies in panic to give the forms I have to those student assistants in front of us..explaining the rules and regulations of UST. And now, it's my turn to instruct them!..yey! nice experience!

Okei..change topic.
I just want to tell you guys that UST had won the UAAP over-all championship title for the 34th time..including this season! That's super good news diba! I saw it on the recent issue of Varsitarian today and it is stated that:

"For the 9th straight year, UST has shown once again IT IS lord of the UAAP jungle by grabbing its 34th overall general championship and wrapping up its Season 69 campaign on a hign note. UST won 13 UAAP titles in 26 disciplines for a whopping 331 points, relegating perennial rival University of the Philippines-Diliman (UP) and Far Eastern University (FEU) to second and third places with 254 and 218 markers respectively..."

A huge 77 point lead from other universities...real good achievement..for the 9th time! We all know that DLSU was not allowed to join this season due to some serious reasons that's why we cant see them on the top 3 UAAP scorers. Some say that UST and DLSU were always rivals for this prestigious award. Sabi pa ng classmate ko na 2 points lang daw ang lamang ng UST sa La Salle last season..really tough match!
Well, lets see on Season '70 now that leagues are complete.
5 Cheers for UST for bringing home the bacon! (.__"__.)
